315-2 DP and CP343-1 Lean error.

one2three Posts: 37 Rating: (1)	Hey. I gota little problem, first of all.. when I first configured the cpu to communicate via a cp343-1 lean all worked fine.. Then without thinking I made a MRES for some reason, cannot remember why but I did, thing is that the cpu dosnt got any memory card or battery, so after that it all got fucked..I keep getting a 'SF' on then cpu and it will not go over to RUN mode. IfI disconnect the cp card and reconfigure it all works fine.. Leads showing on on the CP is RUN and P1 flashing, so all seams fine with that card. Diagnostic Buffer says: No.1 STOP caused by parameter assignment error or unpermissible difference between preset and actual configuration: startup disabled. No relevance for user (SDB no.): 1000 Norelevance for user (Z2): 0000 (Z3): 0000 Previous operating mode: STARTUP (warm restart) Requested operating mode: STOP (internal) External error, Incoming event. No.2 Mode transition from STOP to STARTUP STOP due to: STOP caused by I/O error Startup information: - Time for stam at the last non backed up power on - Single processor operation Current/last Startup type: - Warm restart triggered via MPI; last power on backed up Permissibility of certain startup types: - Manual warm restart permitted Last valid operation or setting of the automatic startup type at power on: - Warm restart triggered via MPI; last power on backed up Pervious operating mode: STOP (internal) Requested operating mode: STARTUP (warm restart) Incoming event I dont know how to parse those error msg.. J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear ont2three, the error message you copied shows something about the used CP. The SDB 1000 is one of the configuration SDB’s of this CP. I am a bit confused, because you said you made a MRES and than you got this error. Might it be that you loaded the HW Config to the CP directly? Have you tried to download HW Config and NetPro form each Program yet? Loading the Program with SDB Container is not the same! Best regards J_Bell

one2three Posts: 37 Rating: (1)	Hey J_Bell, yes I have tried to download new hw config, also tried to config it all from scratch but as soon as I put in the CP in my hwconfig the CPU goes in STOP. Is there something wrong with the SDB1000 ? or what do you mean? This is system blocks that cant be messed with right? Thanks in advance.

one2three Posts: 37 Rating: (1)	Hey! Strange thing is.. I can't see the CP unit via accessible nodes, I only see the CPU's mpi. I use a CPU 315-2 DP (315-2AF03-0AB0) and a CP 343-1 Lean (343-1CX10-0XE0). It worked before, thats why i'm so confused. //Johan

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear Johan, would you maybe try the following. Change the MPI Address of the CPU to a value that is far away from the current one, maybe 10. Load the HW Config to the PLC and try to see what you get. It might also be worth trying this without the CP being connected. Check the Livelist (reachable Nodes) again and we might see more. The CPU you use is OK from my point of view. Have you checked if, maybe, a Pin is bridged or the backplane is damaged? You might change it for a try. Best regards J_Bell

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello Jesper, as far as I know does this affect the System especially if you load it the first time. There are some settings that have to be done by the System directly onto the CP. If this is not done the System will not set the CP that way that the configuration of Netpro is completely set to the CP if you just load the SDB Container. Therefore I usually recommend to download form HW Config and form Netpro, one after the other. Actually, this is the philosophy, as I understood it. [;)] Best regards J_Bell
