315-2DP problems!!!

stups Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello, I'm having problem with downloading function (FC) into PLC. I'm using 315-2DP (315-2AG10-0AB0 V2.6.4). The whole project is already downloaded in PLC but when I do even a smallest change in this particular function I canot download again, I get message not sufficient memory, but the memory card is 90 % free and when I download the whole project to memory card again it is ok??? Help needed

Denilson Pegaia Platinum Member Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 9/21/2023 Posts: 4234 Rating: (1366)	Hi, First it would be usefull if you check the size of your block, and the size of the free memory in bytes (block properties and CPU > module information). two suggestions 1 - try to do a compress command. 2 - try to download it in STOP mode.

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (262)	Also you should BOTH load memory and work memory requirements. In Step7 choose CPU and then in menu PLC->Diagnostic/Settings->Module Information->Memory.

pinpon Posts: 17 Rating: (3)	The work memory for this 315-2DP is 128 KB This memory can not be expanded. It could be that your project is close to this limit. If so, I suggest: Delete FC in PLC Compress Memory Download FC modified. Good look Attachment Size in work memory.JPG (79 Downloads)

Have a look at the attachment. Display your plc, then select your blocks which you wanna delete. Then you are enable to download your block .
