Copy backup (.brf) onto external SD Card

Hello Experts,

I trust you're well.

I have a similar problem with the SD card backup. Our original SD card was sent away along with the defective screen for repair (by mistake). The exchange screen provided, had a SD card with a different project on it, which was of no use to us. We have a backup of our original project (.brf) on a USB stick (64G). Is it possible to run it from there without the SD card at all? I have tried a few things but didn't succeed. Is this SD card a special Siemens device? Can our backup (.brf) be copied onto such a SD card and then used?

What is your HMI device model? The HMI you have received now is exactly the same as the one you sent for repair, right? Or is it a different model?

As itafusna said we need to know which panel are you using in order to help you.

Anyway, if it is the same HMI , you should consider performing a restore as it is described here:
