Dear Members, i am using a 331-7KF02 module, where i connect the 4 number Thermocouple on its first four chanel. After i connect the one three wire RTD (PT100 Std.) on its 5th & 6th Chanel as per manual instruction. Thermocouple work fine but RTD temprature value increments of 5 deg Centigrade of its actual temprature, after two or three hours spend, this error is increase to 10 to 12 deg centigrade. i am using shielded cable for RTD and connect the one end of the cable to ground. Please give some guideline how can i overcome on this problem. Best Regards, Arif Ahmad.

Hello Arif, Why do you connect one end to ground? I mean it's not how it is in the manual. Do you connect the RTD with 2,3 or 4 wires? Can you measure the RTD resistance at module side (i.e. RTD+Cable) when the difference is 5 and also when it's 10 or 12? Please use anyPT-100 tableand check whether the module is reading a correct value according to measured resistance and the relevant temperature value in the table. Best regards, H-H

Hi, I think the RTD and TC output diffrent voltages, check that the programming modules on the side of the device are installed correctly (one for RTD and the other for TC). Please see attached. Regards |
