3rd Party PLC Tags Taken in Siemens SCADA.

Nagul Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Dear All, My application is 2Nos of s7-300 series PLC and 2Nos of Controllogix(Rockwell) PLC with Siemens SCADA through ethernet communication. i can take s7300 (CPU1 & CPU2)tagsin SCADA. but how i can take Rockwell PLC tags to my Siemens SCADA screen through ethernet communication........? any separate license or driverneed in Siemens or Rockwell PLC side......? Please Advice......... Thanks in Advance.......... S.Nagul.

In Rslinx you can find the AB softwares with the online available tags.You can define each AB CPUs as a provider (server) in OPC simply br right-click on it and define it as OPC server with specified name.In SIEMENS side , you should use SIMATIC NET -OPC SCOUT for gathering items from AB CPUs.
