Hello Jay, The 3RW44 softstarter has a thermal motor model and you set the prewarning motor heat build up 80%.Therefore you get a message when the thermal motor model has 80%. Perhaps reduce the switching frequency or set the prewarning limit of 80% to a higher value. Best regards Frank |

Hello, we have installed a 3RW44 Soft Starter to start a air compressor. However, after only one or two hours working this drive sends me a warning "Prewarning limit motor built-up". Here follows the motor plate data:
There is no temperature sensor. The actual current on the motor is 179 Amp and it was showing the prewarning temperature message. As the motor currents are normal, i beleive, the softstarter shouldn't have a prewarning messages. Anyone has an idea? Thanks Rakesh |
