Dear Expert,

A customer insists going for 400H Profinet system (proposal stage). The new 41x-5H does support this, however, I am not able to find the exact information on setting up the hardware config for such system.

400H Profibus system will show clearly 2 DP lines connecting to the IM 153-2. For 400H Profinet, there is only one single Profinet line connecting to the IM 153-4. I further opened up the network topology, and connect the missing lines. (refer to attachment)

When compiled, no error message appear, which may means a true 400H Profinet with media redundancy, or it may means only one sided I/O configuration... it's a little confusing until someone has the hardware to try.

Thanks so much for your reply. Your attachment provided a clear guideline and assurance how the configuration should look like. It's always great to read your posts.

I installed SP4, but it still does not work. I re-check mine, and notice I accidentally dragged the 153-4 ST module, instead of the HF module as intended. My apologise.

Anyway, it works now. Thanks.
