Install the PtP - Software package! You find it on the CD that come along with the CP or you can do a download from the simatic homepage.

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, I think STEP 7 V 5.2 should already work with the EX11 CP. I wonder, did you ever check the LED’s at the front of the CP yet? If so, have you seen any SF on or flashing? Do you see the CP in Run or in Stop mode? If there is nothing seen, have you tried the special diagnostics of the CP yet? To open this you open the properties of the CP and select the folder diagnostics. There you run the special diagnostics. If you may access the CP you should check the Event log to see if there are any entries. Best regards J_Bell

The problem is there is anquestion mark on CP 443 1EX11 icon in my step7 project. simatic managar v5.2 sp1. How can I get rid of this question mark from my project.its boring me!

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, I am sorry, but I can not follow your arguments here. Is there really no LED lit at the CP? No LED at all? If this is the case, the CPmust befaulty. Usually at least the Run or Stop LED must be lit or flashing. The Link LED should be lit as soon as an Ethernet connection has been established and the RX/TX LED should flash, as soon as traffic is monitored by the CP. Therefore... there should be something at the CP... no LED on at all... is not a good case. Best regards J_Bell

If we assume everything is OK with CP (works properly), the problem is in Step7 project. When is opening version of this project there in CP443-1 has question mark like [?] in yellow color. I had the same behavior once but version of Step7 was 5.4 and after update to SP3 (was last one) the things cleared. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

ercanbozi Posts: 71 Rating: (0)	there is no problem with leds because run led lights and rx/tx leds flash. I think the problem is in step7 project.its releted with version of s7 service pack or hot fix etc....
