4GB11-0AB0 4 wire analog input module problem.

lima9052 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have a new ET200s system setup and programming it with TIA V13. I am having trouble getting the 4GB11-0AB0 4 wire analog input module to work with a 2 wire instrument. I wired my device as follow: +24V(T3) of the module to the Positive side of the instrument Signal wire of the instrument to M1+(T1) of the module M1-(T2) of the module to Mana(T4) of the module I have an ammeter in line with the loop and I can see there is a current signal. I enabled the break wire diagnostic function for that channel and it is not giving me a fault. But I cannot get a reading in TIA. I tested all the other digital modules and they all working fine, just the analog modules but they are not giving me any faults. Anyone had similar problem before or can point me to the right direction to get it to work? Thanks

lima9052 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Also under device configuration, general tab of the analog module, I/O addresses. The process image was NONE and I can not change it while those digital modules are set to OB1. Not sure if this has something to do with my problem.

lima9052 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi Marcjan, I am reading the data using %IWXXX which matches with the module IO address configuration, and my wiring is exactly the same as yours.

lima9052 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Found the problem. The analog module address is out side of the process image input range. Wish TIA could at least give me a warning for that
