Rigose Experienced Member Joined: 7/22/2014 Last visit: 4/17/2025 Posts: 15 Rating: (1)	I use TIA Portal V14 Update4 together with a 4k monitor. However, the text without scaling is too small. When the zoom is turned on, it becomes blurry.In the settings, I can set the font size for some zones. Is there any solution for this problem? Clear text Attachment Image_1.png (686 Downloads)

You can set the zoom size for pictures directlly in the picture editor. Alternativ you can set the monitor settings to full hd (1920 x 1080). With best regards cumulus

You can set the zoom size for pictures directlly in the picture editor." On the first image I did it. So I can enlarge the text / image in the working field. But other elements still remain small. "Alternativ you can set the monitor settings to full hd (1920 x 1080)." Yes it can be done. So the advantages of 4k are lost. It would be nice if the developers added support for various dpi - 120, 150. Or added the ability to change fonts in all parts of the TIA workspace.

And the Pixel Size Is OK for this size/resolution. If you use a 4K on a small screen like 24 or 27 " the Pixel are much more smaller and of course the Program buttons an so on are also smaller. <own opinion > So in my Eyes the "resolution explosion" makes more trouble than bings benefits. It is a good Thing for professional Graphic Desktops for autocad or graphic/video design but with big screens >30" but not for Office desktop with smaller screensize </own opinion > Bye Murof

I would very much like that the developers added the ability to change the font in all parts of the TIA or added support for 120 -150 dpi

I'm trying to change font size, (Settings-General-Font) and change it from 9 to 14, but the size of the font is the same, alt try this in (Settings-PLC Programming-Font) but the result is the same... Also, when I run Visualisation, it's on some strange resolution, I tried to change it in setting, but without any positive result, (Setting-Visualisation-Resize screen). in attachment, you could find pictures of the good and bad screen, in development the screen is ok, but in runtime is in a big mess.
