Hello all,

I want to read a 50 characters string, in an TP700 Comfort panel, using a bar code scanner.

I use TIA Portal V15.

The problem is that my panel reads only the first 10 characters but I need 50 characters.

How can I read a 50 characters string (the string represents an model code)?

Hi,

I think that default length is 10. Select tag from tag table and set new length from properties.

Edit:

Like it says in your attachment WString[10], you can edit that from tag properties. Tag table, right click tag and select properties.
