Hi Accumulator size in S7 CPU is 32 bits ! So can't accomodate more bits then that !

Dear manmeet , what I read on the available library is that it just convert 64 bit into 32 bit. If this it whatyou understand under processing 64 bit, yes it's possible. What I understand under 64 bit processing is handling the 64 bit without anylosses (add, multiply, divide, compare.....). By nature the CPU does not support this functionality. But it should be possible tomake this via additional blocks on software base. Regards. |
