templenix Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hello forum I got a faulty expansion module DM8 230R model 6ED1 055-1F800-0BA1 but it is obsolete, new version 6ED1 055-1F800-0BA``2`` is on the market, Can I install it to the PLC Logo 230RC without doing modifications on the code to be accepted the new version of the expansion card. Hoping any advice will be appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Where to find Software to program LOGO 230RC.

Expansion modules whose order numbers end with *0BA2* are only for devices of the 0BA8 series. They are not compatible with LOGO!s or expansion modules of the 0BA0 to 0BA7 series.

So to clear out all my doubts: a) The only solution is to upgrade my LOGO 230RC 6ED1-052-IF00-0BA6 to the newest LOGO 230 RC 0BA8 series to be compatible with all the new series expansion cards versions 0BA2 series?
