rahpar Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi, I already have an existing 6SL3120-2TE13-0AA3 drive which is spoilt and want to replace it with 6SL3120-2TE13-0AA4 the new version. Do I need to modify my PLC S7300 program etc. or just a physical replacement will work fine? I have around 24 sinamic drives connected by profibus with the PLC. thanks,

pierre_g Posts: 67 Rating: (5)	Hello, The change from 0AA3 to 0AA4 is the peak current. 0AA3 is 2x and 0AA4 is 3x. This is to use a smaller module and to obtain same peak current but you must check compatibility with power supply to use this function otherwise you keep 2x pek current. I use both with 840DSL and it change nothing from the PLC. Pierre

I just changed the 6SL3120-2TE13-0AA3 to 6SL3120-2TE13-0AA4. I remain the control unit. Do i need to change the hardware configuration in PLC (Simatic manager)? or need to edit some parameter on Starter? Please help me.
