TEENS Posts: 23 Rating: (1)	How can i issue a opn/close command in 61850 for a breaker , data type being sbo with enhanced. The path through which data flows is wincc--axs4mms-gateway-relay. Now i am trying to map the data type to sbo only, at that time command doesnt reach relay.So i have mapped the data to direct with normal security. That time command is going but the problem is command is inconsistent , at times command succeeds at times it fails. Looking for a solution from anyone. TEENS

Mike J Platinum Member Joined: 10/9/2007 Last visit: 1/22/2025 Posts: 1253 Rating: (115)	Hi Teens Once I tested a gateway fromSisco (I think that's the one you're using) and the problem was that Sisco should send several informations at the same time to Siprotec. The problem was on the OPC side, as the client could not write several informations at the same time. On Siprotec web site, on the right panel click Software -> IEC Browser. Install and execute this software. It's a IEC client which you can use to tests your commads. Here you'll see exactly which informations should be send to Siprotec. TEENS Posts: 23 Rating: (1)	hi thanks for ur reply. IEC Browser doesnt serve my issue. Let me make it clear . Now i tried to issue sbocommand to a 7SJ63 Relay from Wincc.i ssued the commandas 2 block writes sbo block write and oper block write. The command failed and in as4mms log it says Block write Data Incomplete. So Imapped the sbo to direct with normal security , at that time the command succeeds. But the command is inconsistent. At times itsuceeds, at times itfails. Expecting a solution for this.

Imran24 Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Hi TEENS, Im also facing the same problem what u have mentioned. Im using the Siprotec 7SJ61 relay, the communication is from WinCC - AXS4MMS - Relay/Server simulator. For both the cases relay or server simulator, I am unable to issue the commands to relay. The requirement is commands with "SBOw with Enhanced security". When a OPen or Close command is issued from WinCC, Im getting error log in AXS4MMS as "Block write incomplete message". In the relay when command status is changed to "direct with normal security" everything works perfectly, but my customer requirement is not that one. Can anybody please give me a solution for this......

In Siprotec you cannot change, only if you change the internal command, for example, a single command. The problem is in Sisco, not WinCC or Siprotec. Sisco must understand how WinCC executes a command (actually the protocol, for example OPC there's not SBO) and also how the server (Siprotec) expects a command. In Sicam PAS, for example, it doesn't if the commands comes from a OPC, Modbus or IEC101 protocol, in the IEC61850 side he executes the command as needed. Mike J

Imran24 Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Hi Mike, Thanks for replying... I am new to WinCC and this is my first project, as per the requirement i have to use AXS4MMS for communication. Thats y i am trying with the same. And finally Isucceeded issuing the command using SBOw enhanced security. The problem was I was issuing the command to Ctval alone. When I tried issuing the command to orident, ctval and check..... it worked. Hope I will get a project which uses SICAM PAS so that I can learn and use the same......

Scarvalho Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi Imran, I´m also using AXS4MMS witch WinCC and i´m having the same problem as you. How did you do in WinCC to set the variables at the same time? Dou you just set orident, ctlval and check? Another question is how to switchenhanced security to normal security?

In Siprotec you can't change it. Example for direct with normal securitycommands arecommands without feedback, TapChanger without feedback. Example for Select before operate with enhanced securityare commands with feedback, TapChanger with feedback. Mike J

As WinCC and Siprotec are Siemens, I don't understand why use a 3rd. Party software in the middle. The first time I sawthis Sisco gatewayon a test, I convinced the colleague to use Sicam PAS. Mike J
