I have a project with 8 cpus s7-1200 ac/dc/rly (1 central ,7 peripherals) and i want to connect them all together over profinet in local network. Each one of the peripheral cpu must send (in a specific event) a value (1 word lenght) to the central cpu.Central cpu will save these values.The frequency of the sendings will be very slow and never will be 2 sendings together at the same time.My thought is to use s7 communication protocol(i think is simpler) with ''put'' instruction inside the program of  peripheral cpus. I want to ask if it possible or if there is any restriction?something more, in the network 4 cpus will have their own hmi.but i think this doesn't affect anything!

What kind of S7-1200 do you have. If they could be used as I-Device, this would be a easier solution.

but not every S7-1200 supports I-Device

my cpus are s7-1200 1212ac/dc/rly fw4.1. I going to read about i-device . i don't have used anymore this type. Thank you for the reply. The conclusion is, that it is not possible with my first thought ,there is a restriction.
