802D profibus communication problem with Simodrive 611 / 25202 alarm “X1 waiting for drive”

I’m installing a 802D system on a simple 2 axis lathe. The system includes a 2axis Simodrive 611 unit 6SN1118-NH-0AA0 equipped with profibus DP3 card 6SN1114-ONBO1-0AA0, a power supply and 2 sets of PP 72/48 I/O cards. After installing the software, we set the MD11240 to 3 and the profibus addresses (12 for the 611 drive, 8 and 9 for the I/O units) but we got a problem in the profibus communication between the 802D system and the 611 simodrive: The drive is showing warning “A 832” “PROFIBUS not clock-synchronous with the master” and the 802D is showing 25202 alarm “X1 waiting for drive”- I tested the 611 simodrive using the Simocom software and it’s working fine - The PLC program and the I/O units are operating normally - The 802D system can see the drive in the “system / machine data” area, I can see and modify the parameter of the drive form the 802D keyboard, which proves that the profibus is working but I couldn’t solve this “clock synchronization” problem, I tried all the related parameters for the drive, but didn’t find any related information for the 802D side. |

Hi, did you check profibus cable to 611U, and make sure that the terminating resistors are only connected at the first and at the last stations(following the switch ON/OFF rule). ref. to commissioning manual 2.5 Connecting the Profibus give some feedback to Forum

Yes, I've done this. in fact if the resistors are not set the profibus will not work at all. In my case it's working and retriving the Drive parameters but I have this alarm "25202" and the warning 832 on the drive that I couldn't reslove, it's related to "clock synchronization". |

I have no simple way to fix the problem. But if I were you I will try to test Simodrive 611 unit 6SN1118-?NH??-0AA0 equipped with profibus DP3 card 6SN1114-ONBO1-0AA0 togather with S7-300 PLC. to do this you need an S7 Cpu 315-2DP, STEP7 SIMATIC MANAGER. document ref. to SIMODRIVE 611U description offunction, Ch.5. if 611U controlled via profibus by CPU 315-2DP , and you still meet alarm A832. you may try to change DP3 or 2axis Simodrive 611 unit . you can also read help text from SIMOcomU for alarm 832. good luck! |
