802D SL Pro Cyclic data transfer error..

vnj296295 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello Experts, We are having 80aD Sl Pro controller on our 3 Axis VMC. During commissiong we had problems with alarm PLC stop3 , but after Power UP with saved data , the machine was starting. But after that this problem started coming regularly, hence referred it to Siemens Proffessional. They down graded the Software version from 01.04.06 to 01.04.05, after that a new problem has started coming the alarm alarm protokoll and version info is attached for ref. Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hello.... The communication is process from from the PCU i.e your 802DSL is not happenning..... Check the drive cliq cable from the PCU to your ALM and MM check this..... and the 24 vdc supply ... given to ALM/ SLM module in your case.... Downgrade process is not reuqired 01.04.06 works fine.... Regards, Prakash

I would like to add that, when siemens professional had attended the problem, starter software was connected and the topology was viewed on line, but when the alarm occured none of the component was showing disconnected (I guess It shows Free when the component looses conncvtivity ) Could the SMPS be the cause of this problem?

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hello.. If Drive is not recoginized it shows blank....may be the factory setting and rapid toplogy is not done it could show blank.... Normally if this error occurs means from the PCU data are not exchanged prooperly? so...could the cable is weak/ damaged....or the 24vdc is dropping.... Check this .....24vdc alone will not cause the problem.... Regards, Prakash
