Hello, Main Difference is 1] Max no of Axis Configuration, 2] Type of PLC used , 3] Software used to Communicate etc.

garanimanu Posts: 31 Rating: (5)	peter jenny what is the main difference between 802D sl,828D sl & 840D sl control CNC Systems....which type of machines are use????? what you are asking all are CNC machine only,but the difference is application of cycle in cnc and no of axis . there is a special cycle in higher end cnc, and speed of the work also high in higher end CNC in higher end controlleryou willl get a 3 d simulation, difference upon requirement you have to select. Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hello.... Addition to the above all works with Sinamics S120 Drive maximum up to 120 KW.... 828D and 840DSL Sinamics COMBI drive is used also. Yes all this 3 products are used for the diffferent type of applications and also the cost wise matters too.... 802DSL ==> maximum you can have up to 5 axis and 1 PLC axis... 828D==> in turning =>8 Axes and in milling==>6 Axes 840DSL ==>maximum up to 31Axes depends upion NCU's what your using Regards, Prakash
