A free program to transfer data from the NC to a PC is "NC Net Lite" available for download from www.cadem.com in India. There are probably many others out there but this one seems to work well on many different computers. I assume the machine is operational and you simply want to back up data in the control. The files that are most important are ND MD (tea1) PLC MD (tea2) and PLC Prog (pcp). NC Net Lite can be used to save these files as well as all part and sub programs, R parameters and offsets. The PLC Program will only be as an ASCII file andwill only be useful when re-loading data, it is not of any use with Simatic software. You will also not be able to read out axis, spindle and common setting data or the alarm texts (pca) but this is not as a result of the NC Net Lite software but rather a limitation of the Sin 810T GA1.
