Hi, 1. ==> You need to define (at least) one variable in the first line (e.g. "position setpoint" of axis "X1") 2. ==> You need to define the trigger condition as "trigger from partprgram". 3. ==> set the trigger in the partprogram by "$AA_SCTRACE[X1]=TRUE" (modified!) in a separat line. (for a trace in 840Dsl in combination with SINUMERIK OPERATE: $AN_SLTRACE = 1) (this trigger signal is axis-independent!) 4. ==> Start the Trace by pressing "Start" (In the dialog line appears "...waiting for trigger...") 5. ==> Start the test program by pressing "NC-Start" hope that helps CNC600 Modification: Sorry, I forgot: In the line for definition the trigger You need to include the MachAxisName of the involved axis! If Youtrace signals from more than one axes You have to use the MachAxisNamecorresponding withthe first trigger variable.

Always need to start the trace manually (ofcourse set the triggerpoint to "from PartProgram"), then the triggerpoint can be definedby NC-command. sample: ... G90 G94 G500 $AA_SCTRACE[X1]=1 ; trigger for trace at HMI advanced ;$AN_SLTRACE = 1 ; trigger for trace at HMI Operate NEWCONF G90 G00 X=STARTPOS ...
