HI Pee El Sea , So a single tool and a single cut will be correct….. YES Is there a turret index between the two steps ?...... NO. Is the index in the same direction ?......... NOT APPLICABLE. Can you change the program to cut one step and then the next without any index…….. NOT APPLICABLE. Can you change the order in which the steps are cut ?....... YES WE TRIED BUT ERROR IS SAME. Is the direction of the cut the same. ?..... YES. Are you always approaching from a positive X value to discount backlash……. YES Also I have worked on large lathes from 40ton cast rolls to oil shaft finishing lathes. Each has it's problems. What sort of lathe are you using and is this a new problem.?... YES IT IS BIG LATHE. SWING OVER CARRIAGE 1200mm, DISTANCE BETWEEN HEADSTOCK & TAIL STOCK 6000 mm, MAX WEIGHT TO BE LOADED 35 TON. Sorry lots of questions no answers .................. yet Pee REGARDS DEEP. |
