a question about cp343-1

Deleted User Posts: 767 Rating: (69)	Hello i have a cp 343-1 (343-1ex21), with cpu 315-2-dp (314-2af03). The problem is, i can see the module in accessible nodes but i can not download or upload anything. it gives me error, about the target module. J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear Sim-a-Tech, have you ever tried to reach the CP by the NCM Special Diagnostics? If this works you may try to set the IP by edit Ethernet nodes or PST Tool and than try to download via TCP/IP. Usually you should be able to download via ISO Transport also, did you set ISO Ind. Ethernet as used Interface settings in the PG/PC interface settings? Best regards J_Bell

Deleted User Posts: 767 Rating: (69)	Thanks for Reply J_Bell, i have already done the correct settings on Setting PG/PC Interface, and i also tried after your message NCM S7 Diagnostic, but i wanted to make an explanation that this is first time i use this. i made some settings to make an online connection, and i have already attached the picture, but it gives me error, 33:16656 "Online:Connection could not be established. the Connection partner is not responding." Are the settings Correct? Gateway Attachment: My PG Interface Node Address: My PG's mac address S7 Subnet ID of destination network: IN the Net Pro, in properties of Industrial Ethernet Destination Station Attachment: CP card interface Node address: My CP's mac address and Rack Slot: is my hardware rack and slot. and the set PG/PC Interface is ISO Ind. J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, are you connected directly with your PG to the Ethernet the CP is connected to? If so, please leave the Gateway empty, because this information is only needed if you have a SIMATIC PLC in between. If you are connected to the network the PLC you want to reach is also connected to, you do not need any Gateway settings. Best regards J_Bell

Deleted User Posts: 767 Rating: (69)	I think the problem is getting more complex. 1.I can not download the configuration on MPI. just PROFIBUS when i attached the CP on the rack, it cuts my MPI connection. 2.I made a connection from NCM-S7 as to your explanation. yes its working there is no fault anymore on CP after assign IP both i tried PROFIBUS and NCM. it was ok, i check the diagnostic buffer. 3.There is a SF on my CPU, and when i want to be online in Hardware conf. just i can be online on PROFIBUS not in TCP/IP. and also, i can ping this device, i can see in accessible nodes both profibus and tcp/ip. i am sending you some pictures from cpu module information and ncm-s7, Do you have any idea? J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, what I can see in the first place is that issue in the CPU about the SDB 1000. This SDB is the configuration SDB for an Ethernet CP. I guess there is something wrong with the CP you have and the CP you have configured, therefore the SF LED and maybe also the Problem with getting Online on Ethernet. I am, to tell the truth, really astonished because you mentioned that you can not load the CPU but you just mentioned alsothat you can connect to PROFIBUS even so the CPU is not loaded. This will not work, don't you think so? If thePROFIBUS CP is not configured you have noBaudrate and no Address at all. I am not sure what you are doing. Best regards J_Bell

Deleted User Posts: 767 Rating: (69)	Yes i think there is a problem with CP, the second thing is, i could not connect with MPI when i attached the CP on the Rack, and just profibus i can connect with, so howdid i understand this?, first i removed the CP and i downloaded the conf. with MPI so i assigned the Profi port, and then i attached CP on the rack, mpi is not possible anymore, just profibus, thats what i was trying to tell, i removed CP, mpi was working again. Sorry for missing explanation. But Still i did not understand whats problem in this CP. Thanks for all replies.

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, well, right now I can only start to guess. I think either the CP or something between the CPU and the CP is defective. It might be the Bus connector on the back of the devices... it might be the CP... it might be something else. Right now I would start to set up an empty project and start to configure the CPU once again. By doing that I would start with the PS and the PLC alone and than start to add the devices one by one. Download the Configuration and as soon as you get no connection to the PLC anymore you know the two possible devices that could cause the Problem. These must be replaced by new ones than.
