Dear all, I'm now writing a program to control S7 400 CPU communicate with ABB ACS800 Drive. After reading the manuals, I have some questions to ask: If I want to write a speed reference from the CPU to the drive, how can I do that? Attached was a sample program from abb website, but it makes me confused. In this program, speed reference was directly moved from the cpu analog input module into a database, then moved to the cpu peripheral output address, which was configured to the drive connected. But the question is how does it proceed in the drive? Shouldn't it write to the parameter address which the speed reference at. Hope someone can help me on these. Thanks.
