I'm now writing a program to control S7 400 CPU communicate with ABB ACS800 Drive. After reading the manuals, I have some questions to ask:

If I want to write a speed reference from the CPU to the drive, how can I do that? Attached was a sample program from abb website, but it makes me confused. In this program, speed reference was directly moved from the cpu analog input module into a database, then moved to the cpu peripheral output address, which was configured to the drive connected. But the question is how does it proceed in the drive? Shouldn't it write to the parameter address which the speed reference at.

           I´m passing by the same problem that you. I need to understand the comunication between PLC siemens and drive ABB. Did you got to solve your problem? Would you mind to share some documantation or programs with me? I think that you could help a lot.
