I'm beggining to export tags from the data base to excell, but I don't know anything about VB, can you give me some help or FAQ where i can find how to make this with C Scripts (or VB, I think I can undertand it) or information. The other question is about get a string like external tag. I have the information in a DB in Ethernet, the two first bytes are of control, no?. In the General Tab i put Text Tag of 8 bits, and the Strength 8. And the Adressing configuration is DB15 Word DBW148 (i think this is for the control bytes). It's correct this configuration, or am i in the bad way? Thank you for your attention.

So, no way for transfer strings. Thank you for the link. My desire for export the Data is to use WinCCOLEProvider, I have a Demo of Connectivity Pack for 30 days, with a Script i want to export the data to an Excell (or Access if it's possible). Regards.

The issue of the strings is solucionated, if don`t take the two first bytes (the control bytes), the string contains the text that is sent from the PLC. The unique problem that i have at this moment is that i want to take de valuesof the data base generated from the Tag Logging and export them to an Access File, in VB or C script, Where can i find information about this issue (i have the WinCC V6.0 and the Connectivity Pack).
