Hello sexdriver; First, look at the following extract from the ET 200M manual, specifically from the chapter on Interrupt, Error ans System messages. SIMATIC Distributed I/O device ET 200M Using this information, look at the present combination of LEDs and see if they match any condition in the table. The different diagnostics use a different setup of the differentmessage LEDs toqualify a specific origin of the fault. On the other hand, ifyou can access the Diagnostic buffer of the Profibus-DP master CPU (and you have inserted the required diagnostic OBs in your program, OB82, OB85, OB86, OB121, OB122...) then you can probably get a message explaining the source of the problem, as viewed from the CPU, over Profibus.
