About Open IE communication between PLC and PC

siem Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	I used S7-317-2PN/DP communication to a PC via ethernet. There are no simatic soft installed on the PC, they make the program by themself used the Socket programming in the TCP/IP network. The PC acting as a server that provides a (listening) socket to a client. Now I do not know how to create the connection to the PC, and how to make the program in the PLC. The connection description data is in a databloc, and you the so called open IE communication blocks. siem Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	Thanks a lot! But I have no idea forit. For example, the PC send "sample log request", PLCfeedback "Log OK"; there are about 36 commands and many kinds of feedback in the projectlike this. How to write it in the PLC program. Wirte every coomand and feedback in the different DB, or write acommon DB and filled with data according to different command and feedback which need to send.
