Hi Robster, I do use the HSC for count PTO.I just want to read the pulse value.I do not use the HSC for other application. |

How Pegaia said, if you enable PTO for axis, automatically a HSC is allocated. In your case it seems to be HSC2, because of using Pulse_2. I'm still the opinion, that if working with motion instructions (and I think you do that), you don't have access to HSC ID directly. Only with motion instructions. You'll find actual counter value in variable "MotionStatus.Position" of Axis-DB. The unit of this value depends on the unit you define in axis configuration (mm, pulses, degrees,...) Maybe have a look to this configuration example to determine if we maybe talk from different things. Controlled positioning with S7-1200 via pulse/direction interface (CE-X7) |
