Jazz_M Gold Member Joined: 9/6/2008 Last visit: 5/7/2022 Posts: 1121 Rating: (86)	Hi I shall explain in raw sense, Well for Connection involving Ethernet we go for Station Configuration editor, For Communication of MPI, Profibus, Ethernet we can use Netpro to make a logical connection so that the controller know about the components connected to it. You can find the diffrence on your own in the mannual as for LAN card IE genral or CP1613 or CP1623 we would have called it in station configuration editor. Go to Programs-> simatic-> simatic net -> configration console -> in that click on SIMATIC CONFIGURATION on the left side, you will recive a list of procedures for configuring the Communication via IE general (Application S7 Industrial Ethernet )which is used via station configuration. Have fun...
