Hi All, I had the strangest thing happen, So a G120 PU breaks, and I replace it. I think I did it wrong because plunged the new drive in did a Factrey Reset on the BOP and then Installed the config file from S7 Tech(SCOUT) The CU (CU240 DP)gave an error that an acceptance test of the safety integrated drive was needed (F01650 SI P1 (CU): Acceptance test required). I follow this instruction for that here: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/73102423 Using S7Technology 4.2 SP5 (Scout v4.5) I cannot complete the acceptance test. It stops working when it tries to connect to the device. I can only theorize that it is because the HW config was originally made with S7T 4.2 SP4 (Scout v4.4). I could still connect to the drive with SP5, but this acceptance test wouldn't work. I planed on building a VM today running win 7, Step 7 5.6, and S7T 4.2 SP4. But when I came in today the failure is gone. The failer was removed last night when I wasn't here, and I can't find any reason why the failer is gone. The drive was integrated into the machine, meaning that it was receiving signals and data from Profibus. but there should be no reason for the acceptance test failure to just correct itself Can anyone help me understand this problem? |

Hello, the fault 1650 can be acknowledged, this is what most likely happened. Once this was done, the fault will not appear again. This is just an indication that there were changes in some safety related components which should be checked. How to check if the changes are correct is up to you. The application you mentioned works fine to check and document the safety configuration of Sinamics. But this is only one way to go: You can also use the Safety Manual, chapter 7.3, there are detailed descriptions on what to do in case of a component replacement |
With best regards, |
