Access data from table or datalog with vbs

Hello,

I am using TIA portal V13, with WinCC RT Advanced. I have been given a project and need to export some values to excel for the client daily, monthly and yearly using a script. I have a screen with a table control that displays values of tags and data logs of the same tags.

How can I access the values from the data logs using vbs? There is this command in the manual for accessing the dataLogs

HMIRuntime.Logging.DataLogs 

But I cannot find how to access the data and save it to a file. 

Alternatively, can I get the values from a control table in a screen using

obj34=obj.ScreenItems("Table view_6")

obj34.Export()

I have a script that uses the Export function of the table but it just stores an empty table with the column headers but no values.

Thank you for your help but our client doesn't have excel installed on the server so he can't access the data log with excel directly. I was hoping there was a command for vbs such as

HMIRuntime.Logging.DataLogs.get("DataLog1").getContent() 

I am reading the WinCC V7.3 WinCC: Scripting (VBS, ANSI-C,VBA) manual but I can't find a list of all the properties and functions of the DataLogs object. 

Maybe I have to activate my table like this 

obj.ScreenItems("Table view_35").Activate

obj.ScreenItems("Table view_35").export()

 before using it's export function?

Wincc Professional is part of TIA Portal, I don't get why we should post question about it to the old WINCC...

Time has run awaym something has changed?

Why there is a uaArchiveExport and not DatalogArchiveExport?

Are there other ways to  export the datalogs outside the trend page?

First of all my advice was to post in Classic WinCC  if he has classic WinCC (V7.X).

Siemens will not change its User archive C Script interface because there are WinCC V7.X and WinCC Professional that works with almost the same Runtime. If they would every Engineer has to use different Function Names for the same function..... 

Other ways could be Connectivity Pack  or OLEDB Provider in WinCC Professional or PM Open Export ...

I don't understand why look to external packages. It's not a change, it is adding a missing feature.
