access the web server of the s7-1200 through internet

I do not want to download any program, i just want to see the interface of the web server. I have asked siemens from Greece and told me that i have to configure my router in port 80 (port for the web) in order to see the ip of the plc. The problem is that when i forward the port, the modem cannot change the configuration port because it use's the port:80 for itself. Can i configure the rooter to accept the ip of the plc in port 80? the modem is a sagem 2444. Thank's in advance.

Once solution is to configure your router to forward a different port from the internet to port 80 on the PLC's IP address. Let's say your router is at www.myPLC.com and your PLC address is 192.168.1.100. You configure the router to forward port 8080 to ip address 192.168.1.100. You connect to your PLC at http://www.myPLC.com:8080/ Hope that makes sense. If you have port 80 of the router open on the internet to edit the router itself, that could be a potentially bad thing if some kid running a hacking script on your router tries to break in. Most routers are programmable from IP addressesinside the LAN only and not from the internet.

Work great Please visit another subject in s71200 forum: How can I access remotely to the S7 PLC 1200? there is a strep by step explanation on page 3..... Greetings.....
