Is it possible to return a PLC tag comment as a string using a WinCC unified script?

 Comments would be more useful if they're available programatically.

Same for tag limits, PLC connection name, linked tag.  I don't see any reason to limit the properties available in a script to basically the OPC item value and status.

The point of an HMI exchanging data is to make information available to an operator.

No, you will not find a comment property for a "Tag" object in the WinCC Unified Object Model. I also doubt that the information is available to the runtime. The comments are not important for data exchange - and that is what tags are there for.
