access to the AlarmLogging DB

Hi everybody,

I would like to modify some data in the alarm logging DB. I've maked a support request about that and they tell me that:

for the Read Access to Tag- and Alarm-Logging you should use the WinCCOLEDB-Provider.

(Taglogging fast/slow are compressed DBs)

For Write access to the AlarmLogging DB you can use standard MSSQL access because this archive is not compressed. For this no ConnectivityPack is needed.

Does anyone have used standard MSSQL access to write the alarm logging DB? Maybe an example can be useful for me.

I want to modify existing data in the Alarm Logging DB using the SQL command "UPDATE".
