Access to WinCC database by VC++6

And I wonder to know is it possible to do so? Best regards, Cai wenli I know what's the matter is: nomally, the query command in SQL format seems like "select * from tablename". It's different in WINCC OLE DB Provider, we must use the special syntax to command for recordsets, such as "ALARMVIEW:select * from ALGVIEWNEU". so if sb create his program by the VC++ vizard, then he must correct the coresponding statements to the suitable format like above. Edited by:Cai wenli(2005.09.12) Now there is another problem: When I use "TAG:R,1,'0000-00-00 00:10:00.000','0000-00-00 00:00:00.000'" it works, but when I use "TAG:R,(1;2;3),'0000-00-00 00:10:00.000','0000-00-00 00:00:00.000'" it display a error message 'Record set failed to open'. Import-User-2 Silver Member Joined: 8/10/2005 Last visit: 4/9/2024 Posts: 1486 Rating: (32)	In WinCC V6 you have just the possibility to acces to the Alarm and TagLogging data with the WinCC OLE DB Provider interface, because these data is stored compressed in the database and can be read out just with the WinCC option Connectivity Pack or Dat@Monitor or ODK functions.
