Accessing Alarm history query in wincc without connectivity pack

I did not understand, if the "GUI" with the GO button is external Application or is it a WinCC "GUI". By the way, what is behind the GUI, which application? "GUI" is not a good discription.

You can not access WinCC form a external application without any WinCC options.

On WinCC you can use the WinCC AlarmControl to see hisorical data. When you create a own picture for the trend you can (open a popup) displaythe"alarm"-picture in a picturewindow by buttonclick.

If you create a Alarmpicture as i told you, you can set theproperty "DefaultMsgFilterSQL" by buttonclick. There you set the SQL-Statement for filtering with a VBS-script.
