Hi All, I am supposed to use TP700 to write files to an external drive which is located on the network. At the moment I am testing it locally on my laptop. On my laptop I have created a folder which I share with all users. If on my TP I open Explorer and type in the address bar my laptops NAME followed by order name then it opens and I can see its contents. But If I try to use my laptops IP address instead of name then I get an error Message "Windows CE Networking -> Bad network path. Check to see if the path ........................................" Example: \\MaLaptoptName\Destination\- this is working ok \\192.168.1.102\Destination\- this is not working. At the same time I can ping this IP address. Is this a problem because it is only local or is it syntax error (too many/too view backslashes for example) Using Tia V13 SP1 UP9 Thanks in advance! Tym |

Hello, Please have a look at the following link: How do you integrate an HMI operator panel into a local network? Perhaps it might help. Best regards, Wizard |

Thank you Wizard!! Yes, indeed it had helped me. It says: The following call would be incorrect: \\169.254.247.160\Archive The call is made with the computer name and not the IP address.
Thank you very much! |
