Acknowledgment required in feeder display

For example, when an alarm is detected at feeder A, the display of the respective device in feeder will blink. The blinking will only stop when user acknowledge the alarm by my "customised pop-up windows". At the same time, the acknowlegment will also serves as an acknowledgment bit to alarm logging. Could anyone teach me how should I proceed? Thanks! Kee
