Acquisition cycle and updatetag

I try to use tag XXX with “Acquisition cycle” on-demand and refresh them using button “updatetag”, but doesn’t work. WHY? I can’t found any information about mode on-demand.

You should check the "Update ID" in the tag editor of the specified tag.The "Update ID"in the properties (Basis Value)of the tag and the update ID of your system funktion "UpdateTag" should be the same. I tested it with a S7 315-2 DP and it works. Bye
