Hi all Need some help with ACS712 amp sensor and analog input scalling. Sensor is 0-20A Output voltage (from datasheet) is 2.5 - 4.5 V According to example from How do you scale measured values in LOGO! Soft Comfort? my calibration is: Gain: (20-0) / (4.5 - 2.5) = 10 Offset: 10 * (-2.5) *100 = -2500 After upload this values to LOGO i have properly done measurements near 6-10A but when is less then have about 1,5A of difference. What is a reason ? What a'm doing wrong ??? Additionally have measured output voltage from sensor when is 0A. There was 2,53V - not 2,5. In this situation cannot calculate gain because (20-0) / (4.5 - 2.53) = 10.1 (gain can be +/- 10 only). someone can help how to do it properly ? |

I have created an example for you. Based on the data of the sensor, 0.5V = -20.0 ° C and 4.5 V = 20.0 ° C. AttachmentScaling_0BA8.Standard.zip (132 Downloads) |

Sorry, I used the wrong units. Based on the data of the sensor, 0.5V = -20.0 A and 4.5 V = 20.0 A. I have corrected it. AttachmentScaling_0BA8_V2.Standard.zip (148 Downloads) |
