Activate HMI access

Hello Dear all,

I have created a project with TP700 Comfort and CPU 1516-3 PN/DP.

Then, i have set up an access level ( No access ( full protection )).

After that, i have Assigned an additional password to an other access level ( HMI access ).

My questions:

1) How can i activate the HMI access again. in other words, where should i enter the associated password to enable HMI access?

2) Can i define a button in HMI pages to activate HMI access? is there a system function to do that?

3) Can i disable the access level in online mode?

Please help me.

You can only set the password in your Panel Project in the Connection - Editor in the Parameter View in the Screen middle.

Here you can project the Passwort on the PLC Side.

you can use it an every S71200 or S71500 Connection

You cannot access or activate the Password from Runtime. It  is only a Configuration thing.

You could try out User view from the Control tab.

I add a screen with a User view to my projects and access it as an admin in order to deal with the users in runtime.
