I want to activate the motor through remote I/O's so will I be able to directly actuate the coil of contactor from the output card (6ES7132-6BH00-0BA0) or do I have to use a relay before the coil of the motor. Can anybody tell? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

As you can see in the technical data, you are able to switch loads with 0.5A. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/pv/6ES7132-6BH00-0BA0/td
For direct switching a motor, I would prefer to take a relay in between.

It's not a good idea to directly switch a motor, always use a contactor. |
