active bus module configuration

NPSK Posts: 70 Rating: (0)	Dear all In one of our project we are using S7-300 CPU 314-C 6ES7 314 6CG03-0AB0 WITH IM153-1 63S7-153-1AA03-0XB0. - 2 modules Our testing are over. But our client ask an additional requirement that they want to use the module replacement during operation(with active bus module). "replace module during opearation" was disabled in our project. Becasue of this we are not able confirm to our client.

The reason is that at every module insert/remove event, the CPU goes in OB83 which is loaded only on S7-400 CPUs (and high end S7-300 CPUs). So, OB 83 must be downloaded. All other error OBs should be there too. Please look at the attached PDF so you can know how insert/remove function works. Please also look at this FAQ to know which OBs should be there for error handling.
