Active Directory Users

I have a Simatic unified comfort panel, with UMC user management. All software are v18.

In UMC ring server I have imported Active directory groups, and UMC automatically add users from these AD groups.

The imported groups looks like: domain\group1

The automatically added users looks like: domain\username1

In TIA portal I import these groups without issues. I do not import users which is normal.

But from the HMI, when login, I have to enter in login field: domain\\username1

Notice the 2 \

I NEED to enter 2 back slahes, with only one Icannot log as I receive an error 4 (incorrect username or password). With same password but 2\ it does connect without issues.

It seems to me this a a bug, and for sure it is not convenient to type.

Have you had the issue ? Do you know how to solve it ?

 Adding the domain prefix is annoying. Double slashes not OK . I have an issue ATM where I can import domain groups but the users in that group don't populate. Going to try DVD2 of TIA v19 to see if there is a later version of UMC. Otherwise looking at a reinstall of the software.
