Active Interface Module compatibility with 840D SL

Hello, I have found a text on Siemens website: https://eb.automation.siemens.com/goos/catalog/Pages/ProductData.aspx?catalogRegion=WW&language=en&nodeid=10046380&tree=CatalogTree®ionUrl=%2f#activetab=product& Which says: The Active Interface Modules must be operated on Active Line Modules which are equipped with SINAMICS FW version 2.5 SP1, or SINUMERIK 840D sl SW version 1.5 HF5/2.5 HF2 or higher. HFD packages are available for SINAMICS S120 drive solutions that build on runtime versions below FW V2.5 SP1 (e.g. integrated drive controls in SINUMERIK 840D sl and SINUMERIK 802D sl). Now thereare somequestions: The most recenet version of Shopmill HMI software version for 840D SL is 1.5 SP3 HF2 1- Is it possible to integrate Active Interface Module with 840D SL 1.5 SP3 HF2 ? If the answer is positive, why in the last line of the text it is said that "integrated drive controls in SINUMERIK 840D sl and SINUMERIK 802D sl" cannot work with 840D SL ? 2- What's the relation of Sinamics S120 runtime and CNC controllers ? The most recenet Sinamics S120 Runtime is 4.4 3- With these new software release, does 802D SL supports AIM ? 4- How about 828D controller ? Please clarify. |
