Hello to every one. can i expand the module of logo more than seven expansion module DM8. Because i like to make a project traffic light control in logo |

Like Helmut said, a SINGLE LOGO! can only control a maximum 24 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs inside its own program. BUT it is possible to join 2 x LOGO!s together with some clever digital I/O signalling between them to get up to 27 digital outputs. Expanding on this idea, you might be able to get more. I supose it depeends if you are wanting the 7 x DM8 to have more inputs or more outputs (more then likely OUTPUTS are needed). So I think you want: 4 + (7 x 4) = 32 outputs. Have a look at the attached progam idea where 2 x LOGO!s are joined with the last 4 outputs of LOGO! #1 connected to 4 inputs of LOGO! #2. You will have to be careful if you want more than 1 output switched at a time - you will need to 'latch' then 'unlatch' them: on both sides. Maybe this will help!?!?!?
