Add new motors in Scout

Sevab-Peter Advanced Member Joined: 12/20/2005 Last visit: 4/28/2025 Posts: 30 Rating: (1)	I need to add a motor in Scout that does not have the Drive-Cliq interface. The motor is a standard Siemens motor 1FT7086-5SF70-1NG0. Normaly you would then select it from a list in the configuration wizard, but it does not show up there. I also tried to enter standard motor data and make a measurement of the motor, but it gives me the alarm unknown commutation angle that can't be reseted According to Siemens I have to add a SSP service pack, but it still does not show. Is there something to be done here, or do I have to change motors? /Peter

Jerry Posts: 116 Rating: (7)	Hi, the available motors depends on the SINAMICS version. If you use a SIMOTION D4x5, then have a look to the version of the SINAMICS Integrated. --> you should use V2.6.2 With V2.5 I see no types of-5SF...- ; with V2.6.2 I see them. (SCOUT V4.1 SP5) Regard Jerry
