Split from Adding new symbols.

I use a png from dwg and then edit with GIMP. Png are suitable for transparent background and you can add it in GIMP.

I am aware that we can add a variety of image formats directly to a graphic screen using the "Graphic View" object.

BUT what in particular I am trying to do, and maybe BrandnerPLC, is to add my own image specifically to the "Symbol Library" object library. This is because I want to use the Symbol Library object functionality to change the foreground colour dynamically. 

 How about using a button with graphics, a png with transparent background and add an animation to dynamize the background colour?

Thanks for the suggestion but we really want to change the foreground colour of the symbol graphic.

The Symbol Library object functionality is exactly what we are looking for ... but we just want to add our own graphic symbols
