Adding Animaited GIF

My intention was it to be exaclty about the Active-X controls. I try to use ActiveXPlugin Object but I can not setup a connection with the animaited gif. Maybe I must use another ActiveX control, but I have no idea. Best regards, Filo.

Salma Gold Member Joined: 9/27/2005 Last visit: 11/27/2007 Posts: 1398 Rating: (151)	Hi Filo To use theWinCC Web Browser ActiveX Control you need to set the URL property to the full path and filename of your gif. e.g. C:\my_project\my_pictures\my_gif.gif This should work so let us know if it does not. However it is not an ideal solution because you cannot hide the browsers title bar. Does anyone have a better solution ??

Then the only problem you have is that the right mouse click also has functionality when the mouse pointer is over the new object you created, but you can also lock this key in windows. Rocky Balboa Posts: 36 Rating: (3)	Hi, I’ve tried once to place animated gifs in WinCC projects, but the best way I managed to do that was doing like it was said once before: converting the GIF to AVI and using the Media Player. I never managed to use well Active X controls to this purpose, so if anybody knows a easy way to play animated gifs (or where can I read info about how to use Active X applications in WinCC), please share it [;)] Thank You, Tiago

csantos Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Filo, If you are developing an activex control, you could use a WebBrowser object, and call the methodNavigate, passing the location of the gif as parameter. I expect it could help you! Cássio.
