Adding CP343-1 to existing system

I did it in STEP7 but as i can see it opened under the SIMATIC300 a new tree for the CP and there are a programming, my question is do i have to make a code or the other system will get the data directly? Do you want to exchange data between the PLCs ? In this case you will need to do some programming and add Send / Receive blocks in your STEP7 program ( based on the examples suggested by HDHosseini ) Do you just want to connect all the PLCs to a SCADA system like WinCC over a S7 TCP/IP protocol ? In this case you need not do any programming in the CPU. You just need to define a Ethernet Network and connect all the CP343-1 to this network in Hardware Configration / Netpro with different IP addresses. ( You just have to then configure the S7 TCP links to all the PLCs in WinCC with the IP Addresses set ). Just ensure that you provide the correct Rack no & Slot no in WinCc for each PLC connection.
